Notre Dame Du Nord

Notre Dame Du Nord is home of the Truck Rodeo where Truck Pull competitions happen all weekend long. Black smoke, burnt fuel in the air and lots of noise will welcome you at Notre Dame Du Nord. There are so many awesome looking 18 wheelers with chrome everywhere and lots of testerone.

This is one big party weekend. Beer is served in their outdoor areas along with excellent fast food like pogos's, fries and hamburgers. We have been to the Notre Dame Du Nord Truck Rodeo for the last 3 or 4 years now. It's an excellent ride from North Bay.

To get there we normally leave North Bay and head east up Hwy 63 to Temiscaming Quebec then up Hwy 101 and into Notre Dame Due Nord. It is a very scenic ride with lots of twists and turns. After a great day at the Rodeo we head back to Hwy 65 to New Liskeard then down Hwy 11N back into North Bay.

This is a full day ride so leave early and enjoy your day.

Notre Dame Du Nord closes off their main street for this weekend and allow these monster 18 wheelers to race uphill either loaded or empty. Here's a trip we took leaving North Bay Ontario to Notre Dame Du Nord, Quebec. We started the trip riding up HWY 63 to Temiscaming Quebec which connected us to HWY 101 to Notre Dame. This trip is approximately 407 km - 260 miles with nice curves and smooth paved roads.

On the way back we took HWY 65 to New Liskeard where we stopped for a Tim Hortons coffee before making our way back to North Bay. Here is a screenshot of the location of Tim Hortons in New Liskeard.
