Thanks Mike, I do a lot of the escarpment as well, just haven't had time to write up the ride yet. I have many more coming, so keep watching. JOHN

I agree with you about the "splendour" of this route, John.
The Grand River provides some of the most beautiful backdrops for riding through Southwest Ontario and is a vastly underrated resource in general.
My wife and I frequently travel portions of your route when "looking for something to do" on our bikes....coming out of St. Catharines.
If/when traveling this trail, be sure to head up toward the escarpment; there's lots of great scenery, places to go and things to do on THIS side of the border, too!
Drop in on Port Dalhousie (our home town). It's a great little lakefront village (part of St. Catharines, actually, if you believe Canada Post) and has a great little beach, a couple of terrific pubs and a good variety of dining establishments. All with a scenic view of Lake Ontario and the two marinas.
