I'm at a loss why the route wouldn't take you to Blue Mountain. I would recommend you continue on 1st St. west out of Collingwood which turns into Mountain Road. Continue to Grey Rd. 19 and head north. This winding road takes you along the base of Blue Mountain and the condos that line the base of the hill. It will take you thru Craigleith where you meet up with Hwy. 26. This is a beautiful area.
