Tobermory Ferry shuttles passengers, cars & motorcycles up to Manitoulin Island traversing Lake Huron from the south side of Bruce Peninsula. The ferry is called the MS Chi-Cheemaun which means "Big Canoe" in Ojibway.

Our Motorcycle ride took us from North Bay, Ontario Canada to Sudbury and then over to Espanola then down to South Baymouth where we boarded the MS Chi-Cheemaun for our ferry ride across Lake Huron to the south arriving at Tobermory.

It is a very scenic ride with well paved windy roads and lots of areas to stop for the perfect photo. Disembarking off the MS Chi Cheemaun and riding into Tobermory. Tobermory is one heck of a place to stay. We tried to stay there but without a room reservation in the summer months your chances are pretty much NIL.
