Ontario Motorcycle Ridestraffic lights
by Rob
Where are American Legion Riders, Post 75, Gloucester Va. We try to ride every weekend (weather permitting). One thing we have noticed is the "what to do" when approaching a traffic light. We have made it a practice to warn everyone before a ride the "the lead motorcycle" WILL STOP, when a light turns yellow. This eliminates the guess work of those following on whether to "speed up or stop". The worst thing you want is the front bikes to stop and someone else thinking they should speed up - causing confusion and possibly an accident. Also - if for some reason some make it through and some get stopped - the lead bikes will pull over and wait for the rest to catch up. Click here to read or post comments. |
