Port Carling Motorcycle Ride

June 27, 2014 - Riding to Port Carling from North Bay is a very scenic ride with lots of twisties and smooth paved roads. This was a day trip from North Bay which took in approximately 375 km round trip.

From North Bay ON we rode south on Hwy 11 until we hit Hwy 141 (just south of Huntsville) and there we rode Hwy 141 to Windermere Road to Brackening Road to Hwy 118 and just follow the signs into Port Carling and our first destination was lunch at Turtle Jacks on the dock.

We also visited Abbey's Bake House (formerly a church) now turned into a very quaint bakery where they are known for the famous buttertarts. Of course we had to try them and yes they were delicious.
