Motorcycle Ride for the Moraine

The environment receives about two percent of all charitable donations, yet it affects all of us. Ride in support of the Oak Ridges Moraine Land Trust, a grassroots organization that has protected 3,300 acres to date on the moraine. The Oak Ridges Moraine is known as the rain barrel of southern Ontario and provides drinking water to people across the GTA. It is the home of hundreds of plant and animal species with many at risk.
Sunday, July 8, 2012, Registration: 9:00 AM. $15.00 per Bike. Zephyr Community Centre, 310 Zephyr Rd. Zephyr, Ontario. (Uxbridge Township) An easy hour ride south to the moraine for a quick stop and spectacular view with a return trip to Zephyr for a BBQ lunch. $5.00 per person.
